An international external expert commission visited the State Joint-Stock Enterprise “Hospital of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan” on June 2–3, 2026, as part of an evaluation of three residency programmes. The international commission was headed by A.K. Zhumalina, MD, PhD, Professor, and Head of the Department of Pediatrics and Neonatology at the Marat Ospanov West Kazakhstan State Medical University.

International Expert: A.A. Stanzhevsky, MD, PhD, Deputy Director of the Center for Scientific Research, and lecturer at the Center and other medical institutions in the field of radiological imaging at the Academician A.M. Granov Russian Scientific Center for Radiology and Surgical Technologies, Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation. Member of the European Society of Radiology, Associate Member of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine.

The expert commission included representatives from Kazakhstan’s academic community. The evaluation was conducted to assess compliance with the ECAQA Standards for accreditation of the residency programme, which were developed based on the 2023 update of the WFME Global Standards for Quality Improvement in Postgraduate Education.
