An external expert commission visited West Kazakhstan Higher Medical College LLP on March from April 1 to 3, 2026, an external expert commission visited the Republican Higher Medical College LLP to assess its compliance with the standards for institutional accreditation of medical colleges and to evaluate its educational programs, including the applied bachelor’s programme in Nursing.

The international commission, chaired by G.T. Tokbergenova, Ph.D. in Education, Honored Worker of Education and Distinguished Health Care Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Director of the Interdent Higher Medical College, included a foreign expert - N.G. Kostsova, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Nursing Management, Deputy Director for the “Nursing” programme at the Medical Institute of the Patrice Lumumba Russian University of People’s Friendship, and Member of the General Council of the Association of Professionals with Higher Nursing Education (Moscow, Russian Federation).

The expert commission included faculty members from Kazakhstan’s higher medical colleges, a student, and a representative from the healthcare sector. RHMK is one of Kazakhstan’s oldest medical colleges, offering training for mid-level healthcare professionals in nine specializations, including applied bachelor’s degrees, and continuing professional development programmes. The college serves as the base for the Union of Medical Colleges of Kazakhstan and the Republican Educational and Methodological Council for Technical, Vocational, and Post-Secondary Education in the field of healthcare, both of which are actively operating.
