On February 4-6, 2025, an external evaluation of Bachelor's degree programmes on specialty “General Medicine” in Uzbek and Russian languages of instruction and “General Medicine” in English language of instruction of Urgench branch of Tashkent Medical Academy was conducted for compliance with the Standards for Accreditation of Bachelor's degree programmes of medical education institutions, developed by ECAQA on the basis of the updated version of the Global Standards for Quality Improvement of Basic Medical Education of the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) 2020.
The External Expert Commission included an international expert: Archit Pandit, Master of Surgery (M.S.), Director of the Department of Oncological Surgery, Shalby Sanar International Hospital, Senior Consultant, Surgical Oncologist, Disease Management Group: Gastro-Esophageal and Thoracic, MAX Cancer Centre, MAX Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi, India.
