On May 12-13, 2021, ECAQA External Evaluation Commission (EEC) visited the Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Eye Diseases and conducted evaluation of institution and the residency programme «Ophthalmology, including children's ophthalmology» within the framework of institutional and specialized accreditation of postgraduate medical education organizations. The ECAQA’s Accreditation Standards are based on the WFME International Quality Assurance Standards. Guzel Zakirovna Zakirova, PhD Candidate in Medicine, Associate Professor at the Department of Ophthalmology at Kazan State Medical University, ophthalmologist at the Children's Republican Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan participated in the work of EEC as a foreign expert.
