On 12-13 February, 2019 within the framework of institutional accreditation EEC of the ECAQA visited to The Educational and Clinical Center «Astana», implementing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Programmes of healthcare professionals and simulation training (re-education, advanced training, short-term training, master classes, international training seminars).

On January 16-17, 2019  within the framework of institutional and programme accreditation EEC visited to The International Institute of Postgraduate Education, implementing  Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Programmes of healthcare professionals.

On 22 October 2018, the ECAQA conducted a pre-site visit as part of the specialized accreditation of undergraduate education programmes of JSC "Kazakh Medical University of Continuing Education".

The ECAQA took part in the 9th ENQA General Assembly of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education that was dedicated to “Promotion of the European quality assurance standards in higher education” (on 18-19 October 2018 in Astana).

On 3-4 October 2018, the ECAQA External Expert Committee visited the Corporate Foundation "University Medical Center" of Nazarbayev University within the framework of the institutional accreditation of the Foundation.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Eurasian Centre for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Health Care (ECAQA), the Republic of Kazakhstan, and JAMK University of Applied Sciences, Finland, on 31 May 2018 in Almaty.

The ECAQA participated in the Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN) Annual Conference on “Capacity Building for Next-Generation Quality Assurance in Higher Education” that was held in Nagpur, India on March 22- 25, 2018.
