An external expert commission chaired by G.A. Ibraeva, Ph.D., Associate Professor, member of the Academic Council under the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Director of the “PROFESSIONAL” National Center for Continuing Education, with the participation of international expert T.V. Moiseeva, Ph.D., Vice Rector for Continuing Education, Associate Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine at REAVIZ Medical University, Samara, Russian Federation, an expert from the Russian Medical League, as well as Kazakhstani academic experts, a listening expert, and an employer expert from educational and healthcare organizations in Astana and Almaty. In accordance with the site visit program, an assessment was conducted of educational activities related to CPD programmes of healthcare professionals for compliance with ECAQA accreditation Standards, which are based on the WFME Global Standards for the improvement of medical education.
