On December 22-24, 2021, ECAQA External Evaluation Commission (EEC) visited the Higher Medical College of the Akimat of Nur-Sultan and the Regional Simulation Center of Nur-Sultan (Director - PhD Akbala Sarzhanova) and conducted evaluation of the institution's activities and evaluation of educational programmes within the framework of institutional and specialized accreditation of continuing technical and vocational medical education organizations (Colleges).

An EEC with the participation of a foreign expert from the Russian Federation visited the college's departments, studied the documentation and conducted interviews aimed at establishing compliance with accreditation standards.

The Standards for accreditation of applied bachelor degree programme in nursing based on the World Federation for Medical Education Global Standards for Quality Improvement in Basic Medical Education (Revision 2015) and includes the requirements and recommendation of the EFN, WHO Regional Office for Europe Strategies and Programmes for Improvement Nursing Education with national specification according to the national health care system priorities and needs.
