On December 13-15, 2021 an External Expert Evaluation of 4 bachelor's degree programmes and 12 residency programmes of the Kazakh-Russian Medical University (Rector – Professor Nurlan Dzhainakbayev) was conducted with the participation of two foreign experts from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan. An expert assessment was carried out for compliance with the ECAQA Standards for accreditation Bachelor's degree programmes and the Standards for accreditation Postgraduate (residency) programme.

The ECAQA’s Standards are based on the World Federation for Medical Education Global Standards for Quality Improvement: Postgraduate Medical Education (2015 Revision) and harmonized the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG2015).
