On December 22-24, 2020, the External Evaluation Commission of ECAQA visited the Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University as part of the specialized accreditation of master's degree and PhD programmes in "Medicine" and bachelor's degree programme in "General Medicine''.

The international composition of the Сommission included representatives of the academic community and a certified expert in quality assurance in education of the Russian Federation (prof. Uryasyev O.M., Vice-rector of the Ryazan State Medical University, Head of the Department,), Karaganda Medical University (prof. Kuzgibekova A.B.), West Kazakhstan Marat Opanov Medical University (Yermukhanova L.S., Ph.D. of Med.Sc., Head of the Department), Kazakhstan’s Medical University “KSPH” (Kauysheva A.A., Ph.D. of Med.Sc., Vice-Rector), Kazakh Medical University of Continuing Education (Khusainova Zh., master's degree student ).
