On June 24, 2020, The Eurasian Centre for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Health Care (ECAQA) took part in the Internet-Based Seminar of The World Federation for Medical Education (WFME). The WFME webinar was organized under the title – “WFME perspectives: effects of the 2020 pandemic on the accreditation and practice of medical education”. The Internet-Based Seminar addressed influence of the pandemic on accreditation of medical schools, discussed the standards for distance learning in medical education, adapting and augmenting the WFME Recognition of Accreditation Programme.
The seminar was chaired by Professor David Gordon, President of WFME, with the support of the WFME office.
