On June 26-27, 2019, within the framework of institutional accreditation, the External Evaluation Commission (EEC) of ECAQA visited the National Scientific Center of Phthisiopulmonology of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan that implements continuing education programmes (advanced training, short-term training, retraining, practical, public and scientific events).

The Chairman of the EEC was Elena Alekseyevna Slavko, Candidate of Medical Science, Associate Professor, Director of the Department of Graduate and Postgraduate Studies of the JSC “Kazakh Medical University of Continuing Education”; the Foreign expert was Sergey Alexandrovich Ryzhkin, Candidate of Medical Science, Associate Professor of the Department of Radiation Diagnostics, Head of the Continuing Professional Education Department of the Kazan State Medical Academy, Scientific Secretary of the Medical and Biological Sciences Department of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, accredited expert of the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science (Rosobrnadzor); the National Academic Expert was Vaziliya Shakentayevna Atarbayeva, Doctor of Medical Science, Professor, Head of the Department of Cardiology and Rheumatology of Kazakhstan’s Medical University “KSPH”, Member of the Presidium of the Association of Cardiologists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Member of the European Society of Cardiology and the World Heart Federation, Vice-President of the Primary Medical Care Association; the Expert and Health Specialist was Bolat Meirbekovich Zhanturiyev, Candidate of Medical Science, DBA, Deputy Head of the Testing Center with laboratories, Head of the Laboratory of Biological Research of the National Center for Expertise of Medicines and Medical Devices of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan; the Expert and Representative of practical health care was Zhanar Adilkhanovna Sapiyeva, Director of the Center for Phthisiopneumology of Almaty; the ECAQA Observer was Makpal Aldibekovna Umarova, Head of the Accreditation and Monitoring Department of the Eurasian Centre for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Health care.
