The Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN) has granted the Eurasian Сentre for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Health Care (ECAQA) Full Membership Status of APQN since April 5, 2018.

The Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN) has granted the Eurasian Сentre for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Health Care (ECAQA) Full Membership Status of APQN since April 5, 2018.
The Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN) was founded in Hong Kong in China in January 2003, incorporated as a non-profit association in the state of Victoria in Australia in December 2004. Its Secretariat was hosted by Australian Universities Quality Agency (AUQA) from 2003 to February 2009. In March 2009, the administration moved to the Shanghai Education Evaluation Institute (SEEI) in China, and it is registered as a non-profit organization in June 2011 in Shanghai, China.
The Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN) is a nonprofit, non-government network “to enhance the quality of higher education in Asia and the Pacific region that contains over half the world’s population, through strengthening the work of the QAAs and extending the cooperation between them” for its ultimate goal of “Dissolving Boundaries for a Quality Region” according to its Constitution.
APQN has four grades of membership: Full Member, Intermediate Member, Associate Member and Institutional Member. Certain criteria need to be met at each level of membership.
APQN accepts as Observers organizations outside the Asia-Pacific region.
As of 1 September 2016, APQN has 174 members from 39 countries in the region. Of these 36 are full members, 21 intermediate members, 98 institutional members and 11 associate members. APQN also has 8 observers from outside the region.
