The international event began on 29 October and included several important initiatives aimed at fostering cooperation between foreign and Kazakhstani universities, as well as showcasing the outcomes of international collaboration in higher education.
On 30 October, Coventry University Kazakhstan and L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University held panel sessions, one of which was dedicated to the role of artificial intelligence in transforming educational models and approaches to student learning. Another session, “From Science to Market: Technology Transfer”, provided an opportunity for university and research institute leaders to share their experience in commercializing scientific ideas and implementing them in practice.
An AI-Sana Ceremony was also held to promote the development of digital competencies and the integration of artificial intelligence technologies into the education system. The event brought together representatives of Kazakhstani and foreign universities, accreditation agencies, and the expert and academic communities of higher education. The Forum was initiated by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
For the accreditation centre, having a deep understanding of the challenges, achievements, and prospects in higher and postgraduate education and international cooperation is essential for improving approaches to quality assurance and implementing modern accreditation tools that are adapted to national economic needs and meet society’s expectations.
